*Editor’s Note: Hurricane Sally is expected to make landfall sometime today somewhere between southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi. As of 5:00 PM ET on September 14, OPIS has confirmed that Phillips 66 has shutdown its 269,140 b/d Alliance refinery in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Though not confirmed by Shell, market sources tell OPIS that Shell’s 250,000 b/d Norco refinery has been reduced to minimum rates. Chevron’s 375,200 b/d Pascagoula refinery the company said is still operating. However, the Pascagoula terminal has shut down.
